PRO: Prince Williamsburg

Saba Dance Theater will be performing in PRO: Prince Williamsburg, a show very loosely based on Hamlet, at the Wings Theatre on Christopher Street from February 18th to March 5th for 15 performances. The two sequences choreographed by Saba and performed by SDT dancers will become the “Ophelia” section in our production of “3.”

New York Woman—Cable TV Show

On January 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., Bronxnet Channel 68 broadcast “New York Woman” featuring an interview with Saba Dance Theater dancer Nicole Rocci by Sharron Tavares.

The 30-minute program also included “Winter,” an excerpt from The Four Seasons with Inna Yureneva, Yayoi Suzuki, Elizabeth Hendrix and Sadie Gilbertson, a conversation with Saba plus a performance of his solo, Le Repos des Larmes.

Happy Fourth Anniversary!

Tomoko Muneto and Nicole Rocci are celebrating their fourth year with Saba Dance Theater. While Tomoko has appeared in Saba’s choreography since 1999, she became a member of the company in 2002. Asked to audition after being noticed in a Peridance Showcase, Nicole joined Saba Dance Theater in 2002 for N.O.N.S.E.N.S.E. and has been dancing with us ever since. Thank you both for your trust and devotion.
